In April 2006, Entropie has been awarded a contract for a chemical plant of Salindres (France). This contract is for the supply of an evaporator with a treatment capacity of 2750 l/h . It will concentrate close to saturation an effluent containing mainly sodium chloride coming from the regeneration of ion exchange resins. The NaCl content of the effluent will be concentrated from 2% up to 25% in order to reduce the volumes of plant rejects. The unit is anticipated to be completed and delivered by January 2007.

The applied concentration technology is a horizontal evaporation cell with two passes fitted with a thermal vapour compressor.
