In May 2007, Entropie successfully commissioned two thermal desalination plants in Western Australia, each producing 3600 m3/day of high purity water and operating in TCD (thermocompression distillation) mode.

The desalination units and auxiliaries were supplied as part of a contract for the development of a nickel mine in Western Australia.
