Entropie has been awarded a contract by Qatar National Cement Company (QNCC) for the turn key supply of a desalination plant with a capacity of 1 300 m3/d to be installed near the Umm Bab Cement factory.

The scope of Entropie consists of the complete engineering, procurement and construction of the plant including the sea water intake. The desalination unit is a Multiple Effect Distillation (MED) type fitted with a thermal vapour compressor.
