Entropie has been awarded a contract by Minera Y Metalurgica Del Boleo for the supply of one sea water desalination plant with a capacity of 2 400 cum/day to be installed in the copper and cobalt mine and mill in Baja California, Mexico.

The desalination plant is of Multiple Effect Distillation (MED) type, having four evaporation cells and one thermocompressor.

This award is the synergetic result of the cooperation between two Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies (VWS) companies : Entropie in France and the North American Desal Competency Center in the USA.
