Entropie has been awarded a contract by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for the FOB supply of three desalination units with a net capacity of 3 600 m3/d of distilled water each.

The final destination of the units is the Algeria Oman Fertilizer plant. Distilled water will be used for process application.

The units are based on the Multiple Effect Distillation technology (MED). The are composed of two evaporation cells under the thermocompressor.
