Entropie has been awarded a contract by Burrup Fertilisers PTY LTD in Australia for the supply of two desalination units with a net capacity of 1 500 m3/d of distillated water.

The final destination of the units is the Burrup Fertiliser plant in Australia where the units will produce process distilled water. Completion date is anticipated to be December 2010.

The units will be based on the Multiple Effect Distillation technology (MED) and composed of two evaporation cells under the thermocompressor.
