Entropie has been awarded a contract by Alstom Power System for the supply FOB of two desalination units with a net capacity of 3560 m3/d of distilled water each.

The units shall be installed in Saudi Arabia. Commissioning is expected to be in the year 2011.

The units are based on the Multiple Effect Distillation technology (MED). They are composed of six evaporation cells with one thermocompressor.
