**Entropie has been awarded a contract by BUROTEC for the supply of a desalination plant with a total capacity of 1440 m3/d. The final destination of the plant is Lebanon for the Zouk Thermoelectric power plant. The desalination plant is anticipated to be delivered and completed by early of 2017.**

  
**The scope of supply includes engineering, fabrication, FOB delivery of one Multiple Effect with vapour compression unit with a capacity of 1 440 m3/d. The scope also include interconnection to the existing installation. Entropie will also supervise the installation and start-up of the desalination plant.**

  
**The desalination technology used is Multiple Effect Distillation (MED-TVC). The unit has been designed with two evaporation cells and one thermocompressor.**
